Джордж Макдональд (ағылш. George MacDonald) (10 желтоқсан 1824, , — 18 қыркүйек 1905, , Суррей) —– шотландия жазушысы.
Әдеби қызметін 50 жылдардың орта кезеңінен бастаған. «Давид Эльжинборд» (1863), «Алек Форбс» (1865), «Роберт Фальконер» (1868), «Гибби мырза» (1879) атты романдарында село өмірін, шаруалар еңбектерін суреттеген. Ол поэзияда «Өлеңдер» (1857) «Фантастар» (1858) атты әрі діни, әрі романтикалық сарында жазылған жинақтарын жариялады. Өзінің «Солтүстік желі» (1871) сынды повесттері арқылы ағылшын балалар әдебиетінің шеберлерінің бірі ретінде танылды. Ол Р.Бернс жолын жалғастырды.
